Welcome to Beavers Forest School
Where nature is the classroom.
We are a nonprofit organization based in Shasta County, dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences in nature for children and families. At Beavers Forest School, children explore, play and learn outdoors in all seasons. Through hands-on experiences, they build confidence, resilience, and deep connection to the natural world.
As a nonprofit, every program we offer is designed to serve and strengthen our community, making nature-based education accessible to families across Shasta county.

Our Programs
Parent-Child
Fall 2025 (Ages 0-7)
A cozy, slow-paced experience for young children and their caregivers. Together, we share songs, seasonal stories, and lots of forest play. It’s a nurturing space for early childhood exploration, bonding, and community, perfect for introducing your little ones to the wonders of the natural world.

Homeschool Drop-Off
Coming 2026 (Ages 6-12)
A once-a-week, five-hour drop-off experience for homeschooled children ready to explore independently. Through hands-on activities like shelter-building, plant-identification, storytelling, and free play, children develop confidence, creativity, and connection with nature. Guided by experienced mentors in a supportive small group setting, each child is encouraged to follow their curiosity and discover new skills. We look forward to sharing more details with families in 2026.
